First dive of the day was to Machafushi Wreck (MV Kudhimaa) at 7:00am. Machafushi Wreck is

a medium size steel wreck that slopes from 2 to 25m off Machafushi reef.  It was purposely sunk in 1998.  We saw nurse sharks and a sting ray underneath the wreck.

Second dive was to Kahambu Thila, this is a small round. Kahambu means turtle in Maldivian. Turtles were seen feeding on the top reef. Current was mild at the dive site. We saw different types of lion fish, and scorpion fish.

The last dive of the day was to one of the most famous dive sites in South Ari, known as 5 Rocks. The reef was covered with colourful soft corals and sea fan corals. Under the overhangs there were big groupers and schools of blue striped yellow snappers. The whole reef was covered with orange anthias.
