Café Landaa: The all-day dining restaurant, Café Landaa, overlooks the swimming pool and beach and comprises three thatched
pavilions separated by reflecting ponds, and a separate private dining room. For breakfast, guests can look forward to exotic fruits and juices, freshly baked pastries and a home-style buffet set-up of Asian and Continental selections. For lunch and dinner, feast on the freshest haul from the ocean cooked in various interesting styles. The Sushi and Teppanyaki counter, located in a dramatic water garden setting of the restaurant, provides an authentic Japanese dining experience. The popular theme nights marry a culinary experience with colourful entertainment.
Al Barakat: Adjacent to the main jetty and spectacularly perched over water, Al Barakat features specialities from Arabia, with an emphasis on Moroccan and Lebanese cuisine. The Bar on the ground floor overlooks the sea with magnificent views of the sunset and abundant marine life at the adjacent coral reef. It is the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks. A stairway leads to two rooftop dining terraces with cosy niches decked with colourful cushions. Lebanese mezze, grills, Moroccan couscous platters and stews are served under a canopy of stars. After dessert, guests can move down to the bar to enjoy Arabic tea, Turkish coffee and Shisha pipes.
Blu: Located on the western tip of the island overlooking the 2km lagoon, Blu embraces the essence of the Maldives as the place where the ocean meets the sky. Blu consists of a bar and a dining pavilion, separated by a shallow pond. The restaurant offers a European buffet and a la carte main courses for breakfast, light Antipasti, pizza and pasta for lunch, home-made gelati at the poolside nearby and elegant Italian dining in the evening. The wine list includes a fine selection of Italian wines.
Five Degree North: The resort’s main bar, named after the island’s geographical location 5 degrees north of the Equator, is located on the first floor of the Reception building amidst coconut treet-tops, and has commanding views over the entire island. Featuring a counter fashioned from a local dhoni, the nautically inspired bar also serves Maldivian ‘Sae Bon’ afternoon tea and has a library, pool table and selection of board games.
Barbecue Giraavaru: Located adjacent to the seawater pool and the beach, Barbecue Giraavaru is open for dinner, serving fresh catch of the day as well as a wide selection of choice meats, salads and side dishes from an open kitchen pavilion. Teak tables and chairs are set in the sand facing the sea.
